    About Dr. Gabhart . . .    

      

    Whitney Gabhart, ND trained in London, England as a Naturopath. She was born in Jasper, IN and grew up in Southern Indiana. Her current practice is in Evansville at Midwest Skin Institute and Functional Health.

    Whitney is an Educational Consultant to Licensed Physicians and NP’s in the field of Complimentary Medicine and works with local physicians as well as abroad.

     

    Prior to opening her current clinic she practiced 10 years with Mayo Clinic trained psychiatrist, Louis Cady, MD at the Cady Wellness Institute in Evansville Indiana.

    What is a Naturopath?

     

    I am often asked to descibe what a naturopath is . . . and uh, no, it is not a witch doctor! The best answer is that I am an Educational Consultant to licensed physicians and NP-C's in the field of general Holistic medicine, with a specialty in psychoneurendocrinology and work closely with medical doctors in the field of psychiatry and gynocolgy, as well as family medicine.

     

    I believe in the best of western medicine as well as alternative medicine; this results in an integrative approach that addresses the whole person, expanding their health and wellness options.

     

    I use many approaches to wellness; all encompassing the body's natural ability to heal by placing itself in the most optimal situation via supplementaion, diet, and numerous other therapies. Primarily, my approach as a Naturopath is to find the underlying root cause of the issue/s a client is experiencing and assist your physician.

     

    I would be happy to answer your requests regarding information as to your individual health issue!
